Vision Board

When we think of our goals, it helps to think of them in images or pictures. Creating a Vision Board will actually help us keep our focus on those goals; and by looking at the Vision Board daily, those images become ingrained in our subconscious mind. That’s where the magic lies!

What is a vision board?             

A Vision Board displays art, words and anything that creates images in your mind that represent what you want to bring into your life.

When we think about the things we want to bring into our lives, messages are sent out into the universe to attract them. This is known as the Law of Attraction and the Vision Board technique uses your Reticular Activating Systems (RAS), an automatic goal-seeking mechanism.
Our brains are set up to release a hormone to focus and send that brainwave out into the atmosphere.

For example, take the last time you bought a car. Just before you bought it, – or just after – you would have seen many other cars similar to the one you just bought. However, those cars have always been there. It is just that when you are focusing your attention on your new car, the Vision Board focuses your attention on what you want to manifest.

What goes on the Vision Board? Whatever you want to be, do and have. Assume you have NO LIMITS holding you back, especially money! Be as specific as possible.

Your Vision Board will serve as a daily reminder of your most important goals in the areas of:

  1. Wealth
  2. Health
  3. Relationships
  4. Fun
  5. Personal Growth

This is exactly what you’re doing – designing the rest of your life!

Once you have accomplished those goals and to put up new pictures for new goals. Magazines are a great source of pictures that represent whatever you want to manifest. Create a collage of these pictures.

Be proud and excited about your Vision Board. Hang it where you can see it every day and spend some time every day looking at it and feeling the joy and gratitude that comes from achieving your goals. Each time you look at your Vision Board, view your pictures in the present tense, as if you already have that thing or experience you desire.

Visualise what you want to create. Seeing what you want each day helps those images to become embedded in your subconscious. Then, you will start attracting these things; and with the plan you’ve created, you will begin to notice opportunities, methods and answers to manifest what you want!

Just say you want to lose 20 kilograms. Fantastic! See yourself thin and wearing all those clothes that you’ve always wanted to wear. Imagine yourself feeling lighter and with more energy.

Feel everything as though you are already 20 kg lighter, enjoying and experiencing the thinner and healthier you. Now, start creating your plan. How are you going to lose and keep those kilos off? Is it going to be next month or the month after? Do you need an eating plan? Do you need an exercise coach? Who will be in your exercise group? You’ll need to take all of the logistics into consideration, but always start with the end result. Start with your imagination, that big dream; and then set goals and create the reality.

There is no time better than NOW to start creating your Vision Board. Begin by putting the pictures up and commence dreaming!

Make a Vision Board as soon as possible. Why the hurry? Because this is going to become your daily motivation to achieve your goals and don’t you want to achieve those goals sooner rather than later? What are you waiting for?
